Greetings to all from the Tolomato Messenger!
But you'll probably have to go to the Wayback Machine to find the Tolomato TImes (although I will post a link) but that was a blog we maintained for a long time to keep people up to date, not only on our events, but on items of historical or genealogical or any other interest that had come to our knowledge.
It was difficult to maintain, but with our new Wild Apricot based website, it's all together at last and a part of our commitment to keeping alive the real history of Tolomato and St Augustine.
At the moment, I am the editor and one of the chief writers...Elizabeth Duran Gessner, one of the founders of the TCPA...but you will soon see contributions from our members and friends.
Since Tolomato Cemetery is a distillation of St Augustine history, this could include all aspects of St Augustine's early history. Get ready to learn!
The times have changed and the Tolomato Messenger will be the new Tolomato Times. Pun intended.
So welcome all and get ready for some really interesting posts!
